Our Story

Active Recovery Coaching (ARC) was founded in 2017 as a comprehensive recovery support program that fosters an active lifestyle for overall wellness and sobriety. After seeing our ARC clients achieve high rates of success compared to their counterparts in traditional sober living homes, we knew that creating our own supportive living environment was the next step in helping others find long-term healing from alcoholism and addiction.

The Active Recovery Difference

Our program offers a holistic approach to recovery, incorporating case management, physical training, nutrition and life skills alongside the support and accountability of sober living. Individualized programming is tailored to each client’s goals, strengths and challenges and implemented by trained peer coaches. Our referral network and trusted reputation speak to our blueprint for success.

Active Recovery Homes’ recommended three-month (at minimum) stay involves a multi-phase system of growth and improvement with the ability to build on privileges like curfew and overnight stays, and close guidance from our team. Case management and frequent touchpoints ensure no setback goes unnoticed or unaddressed, while Life360 tracking provides safety and peace-of-mind.

Benefits of Sober Living

Sober living provides a structured environment to navigate the transition from treatment to daily life while gaining skills and habits for sustained recovery, building relationships and community, and learning to live each day in a way that fosters wellness and personal growth.

This is a vital time to learn how to show up for ourselves and others on a daily basis. Even with a loving and supportive family, it can be more effective to receive guidance and accountability from others who share similar experiences.

At Active Recovery Homes, we are a community of peers working together towards a common goal. We believe in support as well as guidance, offering love, hope and a helping hand as clients learn what sobriety looks like for them.

ARH Mission

To provide a supportive and structured living environment enhanced by in-depth, peer-based coaching services that guide clients towards a lifestyle change from active addiction to “Active Recovery.”
