Charlie has worked in the recovery field for many years. He started by creating wellness programs for inpatient treatment centers in 2014. This is where he found his passion for getting the recovery community active. Charlie saw there was a huge need for recovery related wellness services. In 2016 he moved to Austin and started working individually with clients at the Townlake YMCA. He created Active Recovery Coaching in 2017. ARC provides wellness programming for treatment centers around Austin, consults with centers outside the Austin area and does individual coaching at the Townlake YMCA in Austin. Through his partnership’s with Austin sober living’s he saw a need for homes specifically catering to wellness/recovery coaching. Active Recovery Homes is the next step to providing wellness programming in the recovery continuum of care.
